Introduction & Philosophy
KongPaper (港卷, referred to as KP) was founded in 2023 by several members from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The parent company is ThinkThinkSyn Limited (先循有限公司, referred to as TTS).
The project was originally intended to showcase the stress resistance and disaster recovery capabilities of our self-developed low-cost distributed AI deployment and inference framework. It has gradually evolved into an independent commercial project, aiming to provide new development paradigms for the education industry by integrating our years of accumulated LLM/ASR applications and acceleration algorithms.
The team has won multiple entrepreneurship awards in and outside the Greater Bay Area, including from Science Park.
We will continue to expand our reach across Asia, covering major exams including IELTS, SAT, and Gaokao, demonstrating the feasibility of "fully customized education" to the public.

TTS was founded by multiple AI/CS undergraduate and graduate students from CUHK. Our main business is providing highly customized AI applications and cost-effective local deployment server solutions. Our clients include major organizations such as Hong Kong Water Supplies Department and Towngas.
Our services include:

The team has multiple self-developed LLM/ASR/T2S acceleration and application technologies. Successful cases include:

Q: Will KP maintain free services?
Based on our self-developed cost compression technology, all KP AI services do not rely on third-party providers. Our current computing resources are sufficient to handle over 10,000 users. We are confident in continuing to attract users with free basic services while maintaining healthy development with a small number of premium paid users.
Q: What is the "Wishing Pool" for? What is the team currently developing?
The "Wishing Pool" is an important source for collecting user feedback! We balance demand and manpower, currently actively developing:
- Personal learning Q&A assistant with customizable RAG data
- Industry-specific fine-tuned grading and OCR algorithms
- Adaptive difficulty mock exam generation covering all DSE subjects
Mathematics and Chinese History subjects are coming soon.
Q: Are there B2B pricing plans and features?
Actually, our features are already sufficient for schools and institutions, with prices less than one-third of competitors, and overwhelming advantages in technology and speed. We have initially provided the platform to a small number of institutions for trial, but have not yet conducted large-scale promotion and cooperation. We firmly believe that good products + extremely low prices will stand out in long-term competition. After fully capturing the C-end market, we will expand to educational institutions with a "rural surrounding cities" strategy. Therefore, the team is still focused on developing features, improving quality, optimizing inference speed, and reducing costs, temporarily not focusing on B2B features. Invest in Us
We expect to complete exam generation / grading / AI Q&A tutoring tools for all HKDSE compulsory and Category A elective subjects by the second half of 2026, maintaining monthly user growth of 1-2k, while simultaneously expanding to international exams such as IELTS and JLPT.
The team has completed the initial angel investment round to cover basic expenses.
